All formats cover the same material, they just vary in pace. Each class is broken into 3 modules with a 100 question multiple choice test over each. Students need to earn at least 225 points out of the available 300 to pass. (Basically 75% is passing) Attendance is taken, and students must be present at least 75% of the time.

Topics include: real property, agency law, brokerage, listing agreements, forms of ownership, legal descriptions, real estate taxes, contracts, deeds and title, financing, notes and mortgages, land contracts, leases, property management, appraisal, development, fair housing, environmental issues, real estate mathematics, closing the transaction, and Indiana License law.

The purpose of our classes is to prepare students to pass the Indiana Salesperson and Brokers Exams. Though we are not teaching students "how to sell" real estate, we pride ourselves in bringing real life experience to class. This helps provide memorable examples of classroom topics and concepts.

The cost for any course is $350.00 which includes all materials; text book, flash cards, handouts and practice exams. We offer day and evening classes throughout the year at our Castleton location (6515 E. 82nd St. Suite 115).  Check out our schedule to find a list of all upcoming classes.

Upon passing of our course, the student will receive a certificate of completion, and then can take the State Exam. The State Exam is actually two exams; an 80 question exam on general real estate principles and practices and a 50 question Indiana License Law exam. These exams are seperate from our class and students must acheive 75% on each exam to pass. Upon passing the State exam, you may now apply for a Salesperson License. Applicants must be 18 years old and have no criminal convictions that could affect your dealings with the public, such as fraud or violence. Having a conviction does not automatically preclude you from licensure, it would just trigger a hearing.

Note: Students should understand that real estate class is more than 54 hours of class time. Regardless of format or pace, students need to allocate adequate time to read and study outside of class. This can be quite a commitment for the 9 Day class as students are in class 6 hours each day. You choose your pace and we will help you get there!
